Bluewater Systems has appointed Soanar as its ANZ distributor for its ARM based Single Board Computer modules.
Christchurch based ARM solutions provider, Bluewater Systems, has confirmed that the principality of Bhutan, nestled in the middle of the Himalayan mountain range has purchased the company’s DDS-XM100 digital storage solution. Bluewater CEO Sarosh Dubash says the company has sold its DDS-XM100 digital data storage solution to the tiny country. The DDS-XM100 units are to replace outdated magnetic tape units that have been used for over 20 years as the primary backup storage for the country's entire fixed line telephone infrastructure. The units will also provide network based remote access to all of Bhutan's telephone exchanges.
Christchurch based ARM solutions provider, Bluewater Systems, has appointed Sales Director Sarosh Dubash to the position of CEO. Dubash takes over from company founder Simon Glass who has been acting CEO for the last six months. Prior to taking up the position at Bluewater, he was business development and product manager for Navman OEM where he contributed to the phenomenal growth of that company from start-up. He has 20 years industry experience in a mixture of high tech design, project management and commercial assignments and has been with Bluewater Systems since October 2006.
Bluewater Systems, the Christchurch-based ARM technology specialist, has been awarded a contract to provide advanced electronics development services to the Defence, Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), part of the Australian Department of Defence.
